Traveling Superintendent
Bryan Builders LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects in the Eastern United States. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site leadership and supervision, overseeing all aspects of the construction project from start to finish.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project schedules and deliver high-quality work.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all workers and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and milestones, and adjusting as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or potential obstacles that may affect project progress or quality.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and completing commercial construction projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and coordinate subcontractors and project teams.
- Deep understanding of construction safety regulations and the ability to enforce and promote a strong safety culture on-site.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project needs.
- Familiarity with construction management software Procore, Go Forms and tools.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
